ART IN OILS: thumbnails of seascapes, oil paintings of Beaches and Water
This section covers paintings in which the sea is the dominant feature. In England, there are paintings of the coast at Whitby and Scarborough in Yorkshire, Blakeney, and Holkham in Norfolk, Brighton and in East Sussex; and in Scotland, the Firth of Forth, and Estepona and Malaga in Spain. I have painted many other beaches, but the paintings have been sold and are not represented here. See also my section on Venice.
