I have also painted in Wargrave, Mortimer and Greys, near Henley-on-Thames, Stonehenge, Bosham on the Sussex coast, in Wiltshire, the Alps, Spain, France, Greece and USA, though most of these have been sold and are not represented here.

Cricket at Warborough
Oil on Canvas : 19.5″ x 15.5″, 50cm x 40cm
A typical English scene of Cricket being played at the Oxfordshire village of Warborough.
Quintessentially English, a game of cricket allows David Welsh to display his characteristic interest in the play of light on a summer’s day. The painting would be ideal for both home or office space, as it combines both pastoral calm and sporting action in a satisfying ensemble.
