This section covers paintings in which the sea is the dominant feature. In England, there are paintings of the coast at Whitby and Scarborough in Yorkshire, Blakeney,  and Holkham in Norfolk, Brighton in East Sussex; and in Scotland, the Firth of Forth, and Estepona in Spain.
