Rye, with Ostriches

A painting of Rye with ostriches

Oil on Canvas : 16" x 12", 41cm x 30cm

Price, including frame: 290

Rye, in East Sussex, is about 2 miles from the sea, but was in medieval times one of the Cinque Ports. The masts of yachts can just be seen in front of the citadel, and the low-lying meadows are now the unlikely habitat of ostriches.
