A painting by David WelshBeach Huts on Utah Beach
Oil on Canvas : 12" x 12", 31cm x 31cm Price, including frame : £295
Utah beach is the farthest beach on the right of the five landing areas of the Normandy Invasion. It is on the eastern shore of the base of the Cotentin Peninsula, and there are memorials of the landings and a Museum. In this peaceful painting, the rigours of war have been forgotten, and the evening sun slants across the beach. |
